The challenge

We need a system to grow crops that we grow to sustain humanity in more sustainable and resilient ways. Hydroponics is a method to grow plants in nutrient-dense water rather than soil, this method of growing food can reduce water usage by up to 95% while also reducing fertilizer, space, and need requirements, and in many cases, the need for pesticides. Using this method, however, you can only grow a small variety of crops, mainly leafy greens like lettuce, which is not what we are killing our planet to grow, nor what sustains us.

The solution

An autonomous hydroponic potato growing system. A robotic system to grow and harvest hydroponically potatoes, one of the most important crops in the world, and 4th most cultivated crop on the planet.

Mission

Building climate-resilient autonomous food systems.
